It’s just that you’re no longer attached.

Have you noticed over the last year that you feel like you no longer care, especially about the things you once used to care about? It might just be because you’re no longer attached.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, you may have noticed a shift in where your energy and attention is. You may have noticed relationships, friends, your career and even hobbies not feeling the same as they used to.

You may have felt the need to go more inward, more unattached, and enjoying your time alone in new ways. You may have even become to find a peace in the way things are falling apart.

There are moments you may catch yourself being pulled into that old world and old ways and not feeling the same as you used to, the parties, nights out or that regular gym routine. You may find yourself sometimes anxious and worried that you … just don’t care any more.

However, in the stillness and the simplicity, you take a breath and realise that you're just not attached to the same things as you used to be. We have been pulled out of these daily patterns and ways of living that often just provided a false sense of safety, structure, and escapism to the world around us.
